Scott Demetral is the Scouting Director and director of operations for the Greek National team. He played for Greece in 2002 and 2003 European Championships and was an assistant coach in the 2004 Athens Olympic games.

He has a vast history in the baseball world as he spent 14 years as a coach at the collegiate level including 6 as the recruiting coordinator and hitting coach at Western Michigan University. With a stop at the University of Akron, where he also served as recruiting coordinator and hitting coach.

As a player, he played at Western Michigan University where he is still ranked 10th all-time for career hits and hits in a single season. He received all conference honors as a junior and senior.
